I wanted to use beam elements for meshing my structure. The problem i am getting is that the section is not a regular one, i.e. not a circle, square ,Z shape etc. but, is a entirely different section. I needed to know that is there any way of supplying the custom section by modelling in hypermesh or importing the model made in any other platform into hypermesh so that i can use the beam element with this type of cross section. Kindly revert asap.
