Export step file

Hi,

I did some geometry simplifications of a model in HM, its a 2D model, I have everything green or yellow where it has to be green or yellow. So I suppose my model is correct. But when I try to export the geometry in step format I get holes everywhere as if my faces were not connected to each other. What may be the reason?

I join two pictures, the first is my geometry in HM and the second is what I get afer exporting.

Thank you.

    Hi,

Try to import the exported .step file in a different hm session and see if the geometry is correct.

I did something similar with .step file from HM to CATIA and I did't find any settings that help.

Thank you for your response. Well, my geometry was not correct when I opened it in a different session. So i fixed it in the new session, reexported it and got the same problem of holes everywhere. Is it a kind of bug or I do something wrong?

Try to export/import in a different hypermesh version. (12,14 or 2017).

If no results, this may be a hm bug.

Please try exporting in parasolid format.

    Hi Rahul,

I tried to export the CAD in parasolid format (all type formats) but looks like CATIA can't recognize the parasolid file type.

I think I got it, I changed the exporting parameters and it seems to work (at least, visually I have the same thing =) )

My exporting parameters are here :

Thank you all for the replies.
