face aligning Abaqus

Hi all,

in 2d-meshing ,i want to allign all faces of a group of elements to a particular face.

i ll make a surface (element based). and will aply load on that surface. if all elements orient their similar edges (say s4), it will be easier for me to create a surface.like..

*SURFACE, NAME=SURF_1, TYPE=ELEMENT

ELSET_1,

ELSET_2, s4
