Hello,

I would like to define lines following a drawing in Hypermesh. To do that, I need to load the jpeg file of the drawing as a background image in Hypermesh. In Hyperview imageplane command can be used to use jpeg file as backgrond image. What is the way to do that in Hypermesh.

Thank You for your responses

    Dominique,

    This may not be possible in HyperMesh, perhaps this is a CAD operation to be performed in a specialised CAD tool

    Hi Rahul,

    But nevertheless, it is a good idea to have it in Hypermesh. Since it is fully working in Hyperview, a lot of users want it...

    It's a idea for next releases....

    Best regards,

    Mario

    Hi,

    perhaps this can help you:

    image/emoticons/default_cool.png' alt='B)'>

    1) prepare your JPEG photo in full screen, and set drawing objects fit in hypermesh graphic area (estimated)

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>post-3195-0-96031000-1421818995_thumb.pn

    2) set it as desktop background

    3) Open hypermesh and type in the command and you will see a dim image

    wm attributes . -alpha 0.8

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>post-3195-0-88441100-1421819251_thumb.pn

    Thanks Tinh,

    Thanks Mario, I have created an RFE (request for enhancement) with the developers for this feature.
