Improving aspect ratio

You can modify element size in this area to reduct the aspect ratio, so a local remesh is needed.
On your screenshot, the aspect threshold is only 3.0 which is not so bad for me.
Practically, I can accept max aspect ratio about 5.0 for Samcef, Nastran, LS-Dyna solvers.

Thanks. WQould you use tetraremish>retrieve but then I don't see an option to adapat element size?

Your mesh is tet solid mesh? If yes, so you have to remesh firstly surface.

So after I find the error elements...I should rmesh only the surface elements first and then the 3D mesh will update automatically?
I did that but I still get other bad elements. Is there a way to make sure that the output mesh turns out ok?

What's your quality criterion? Aspect ratio < 3 ?
Could you share the model HM?

This is only one part. I have many similar geometries to mesh.
Yep aspect ratio less than 3
Thanks a lot

Here's my test. From your solid, I extract the surfaces and I work on them.
For internal edges, you can disable some of them to reduct meshing constraint.
I come to mesh with about 0,195% aspect ratio > 3 (solid mesh). That's completely small. See my attached files.

Thanks. This mesh works well in msc marc.
Your technique works well for getting a good quality mesh.
Would you wind explaining how you got the surfaces from the original part please?
I need to do this with all my parts.
Thanks
