Hey there,

I'm trying to import a leaf model I've generated. It was mostly created using the leaf wizard, and saved as a .mdl.

For some reason, every time I try to insert the model, whether just the data or data and wizard selections all I get is this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>Capture.PNG

    Also when I try to export...

    I have full admin rights and the file isn't read only or opened anywhere else?

    Hi,

    Use Open file to open a .mdl file in MotionView.

    If you are using Student Edition 14.0, 2017, number of bodies are limited to 200 and it is not possible to export if the model has more than 200 bodies. n

    As my original post states, I am trying to IMPORT the model, not open. Full Hyperworks 2017

    After exporting from the .mdl generated using the leaf tool, upon trying to import into a half car model nothing happens.

    Am I trying to use this function incorrectly?

    Hi,

    Click Model on Project browser and use Import option to import assembly/system...

    Right, but like I said, nothing seems to happen after this screen:

    Hi

    You are using File>>Import model option. What I am pointing is different.

    Click on Model in Project Browser>> Under model broswer properties>> Import/Export>> Import model.

    Please refer to the picture I shared.
