Connector problem hypermesh to ls-dyna

Hi,

in my hypermesh mesh model i have spotwelds with 3 layers. When i want to import these model into ls-dyna for crush test these spotwelds with 3 layer causes problem and give this error 'Rigid elements (id's : 1202) share a common node (Node id : 2)'. How can i solve this. ](*,) ](*,)

    Hi Burak,

    only a hint.

    I think the problem is, that the translator convert your spotwelds to *CONSTRAINED_NODAL_RIGID_BODYS or similar.

    Connections between these elements are not allowed and also pointless.

    If you are using connectors, try to unrealize before translation and realize afterwards with correct element type.

    Otherwise you have to change the element type. As example to beam elements and a MAT100 (*MAT_SPOTWELD).
