Displacement relative to nominal geometry

Hi,

 

I'm using HyperView for postprocessing of Ansys results. Within Ansys I'm modelling a thermal cooling process where the geometry shrinks due to negative thermal expension.

Is it possible to view the displacement in x-,y-.z-direction relative to the nominal (meshed) geometry instead versus a coordinate system?

Hi,

 

if you post a displacement contour plot, then the values are relativ to the nominal structure (but of course in global coordinates).
