    Hi Mohan,

There are no specific tutorials to Fan modelling and analysis, but you can refer to MotionView, MotionSolve tutorials available in Hyperworks help and at www.altairuniversity.com

    Hi Mohan,

You can create this model in Motion View. Create a body and represent it by a cylindrical graphic. Then create another body/ or 3 separate bodies to represent the blades of the fan in the form of 3 rectangles and attach it to the center body, using joints. You can write an expression for the motion of the rotation of the fan. Create an output to plot the results. Simulate the model and record your results. Now, add a mass at any point to one of your blades and then simulate the model, you will obtain the desired results. You can use Motion View tutorials which will help you model the fan. Here is the link: http://www.altairhyperworks.com/hwhelp/Altair/hw14.0/help/mv/mv.htm?motionview_tutorials.htm

    Hope this helps.
