I'm modeling a container with shell elements and composite material (Material Law 25) in hypermesh and Radioss block format 110 for an impact performance.
I applied to my model a property P10_SH_COMP (with a 0/-45/45/90 stack) for each faces of the box and assign a vector to give the default orientation for each face.
But when I request the layer orientation in Hypergraph (with /ANIM/SHELL/PHI/ALL) , I obtain a weird result as you can see on the attached file. Some elements have -135° and others have 45° on the same face.
And this is happening for each face of the box. I checked the normals of the element in Hypermesh but all of them have the same direction.
Maybe you have the solution to my problem ? (This maybe not has an influence on the final result in term of stresses but could be a good idea to know what it's happening for further studies).
