Hello,

i am looking for a quick way to adapt an existing mesh (green) to a new geometry (yellow). In the picture the mesh is coincidient to the geometry, except the bead geomtry stands out. In the mesh there is no bead, and i want to try force the mesh into the beads shape without manual meshing tasks.

Has anyone some experience with that? Please help!

    Hi,

you can try to use the following:

Menu: Morphing->Map to geometry->map to surfaces

Try it with domains or nodes, normal to geometry.

    Hopefully it works,

    Regards

    Mario

Morphing is good method. But if the element quality is important, you have to remesh locally. For surface mesh, it's so easy. It takes me about 5' to do that correctly.
