Hi,

I have recently installed Hyperworks 17 student edition on my laptop but after running the analysis i am unable to view the results due to what i believe is a graphics issue.

I am currently running an integrated Nvida Geforce 940mx which i have confirmed is fully updated to the latest drivers. Can anyone confirm if this is compatible with the hyperworks software and advise a solution to my issue?

Thanks,

    Hi RB86

Try re-installing your NVIDIA graphics driver as recommended below and check.

    1. Make sure that the driver is set to use the NVIDIA GPU

    2. Installing the driver using the clean install option via custom and not express install (like mentioned in the Hardware Recommendation Help Item). Use the Custom and clean options during install

    3. You can also set the option to make sure that the proper GPU is being used

    Hi RB86

Officially HW does not support geforce cards. As in hardware and platform doc  shared earlier it supports Quadro series cards

Still we will check and see if there are any alternatives.

Can you please share with us the version of the driver you are using with a screenshot. Maybe switching to an older version driver may solve this problem.

    Hi RB86

I can see your driver version is 416.94. You can try with an older Nvidia geforce driver version of 385.69 or even lower version.

Install the new driver version and try opening the HyperView. You can ignore the startup message ('unsupported graphics card' ) that comes while loading the model and check for results.

Check this and please let us know the update.
