Hi i'm studying the structural analysys of the aerodynamic pack on one formula sae car.

I'm interested in the max displacement caused by the pressures. I'd like to know if there is an explanation of the global output request (every single parameter), because i can't find it on the 'help page'.

Hi, try enter Help > Hyperworks help home

expand 'reference' and click on 'optistruct', looking for I/O options on browser tree

After i ticked some parameters (such as damage, acceleration or energy) i can't find them on optistruct. I only find, as always, displacement and element stressed. I selected on format: 'opti'.

Hi,

I hope to get displacement & stress results you would have set up deck for linear static analysis.

To get Damage you should perform fatigue analysis.

To get acceleration you should perform Dynamic analysis.

& to get energy carryout nonlinear or Impact analysis.

Basically for different types of analysis you would get different different result.Hence based on analysis type solver would give default or you have to request output type.

Choose format as H3D if you want the results written out to H3D, opti will write it out to OP2
