delete part of contact surface

Hi guys,

 

i want to contact the red Shell component with the Grey solid. I´ve don this with the tool autocontact. The Problem is i want to delete parts of the green contact surfs, can someone tell me how. In the Pictures attached i marked the surfs i want to delete with a blue dot.

Hi, 

 

Here is a work around.

 

go to Find panel (Shift+F5 is the shortcut), Change atatched to as ContactSurfs as shown in the image and Find for elements attached to the Contact surface you are interested and click Save found in the same panel.

 

Now go to delete panel, Double click on Elements selector and click 'Retrieve'. This will fetch the saved elements and click delete.
