How to limit the rotation of a revolute joint?

Hello All,

Is there a way to limit the rotation of a revolute joint in the Hypermesh LSDYNA environment? More specifically, I would like the revolute joint to only allow rotation between 0 and 15 degrees CW (Crudely illustrated below).

Thank you for your help!

    Hi

I suggest you to look into the solver manual , so you can verify the keyword parameters you need to set.

In case you may use Altair Radioss, you can define joint with /PROP/TYPE45(Kjoint2) and Type=2 is the revolute joint type. In this you can define rotation limits.

    I hope this is helpful

    Regards

Thank you Rogerio! I will check to see if there is an equivalent rotation limiting parameter in the LSDYNA solver.
