    it is one of the hardest part of meshing, you should use different kinds of techniques in order to mesh them. there is not a specific way to mesh them.

    HiHo,

    solid meshing is not easy at all.

    The standard way is to use Tetraeders (second order) for complex parts.

    If you want to use Hexaeders, then you need a lot of experience.

    Manual quote:

    'Solid (3D) meshing can be done automatically, just like 2D shell meshing, but often requires that complex parts be partitioned into groups of smaller, simpler, connected solids instead of one large complex sold.

    Partitioning is accomplished via the Geom page's Solids panel.'

    Look into the help file 'Partitioning Solids for Mappability'
