Hello,
When i want to refine my mesh size i need to adjust the node tolerance. I know where to find it, but what exactly is the node tolerance?
Thank you
The very first thing to know: when you set node tolerance = 0.1mm for example, you can not create element with size < 0.1mm /emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20'>
In general I work with node tolerance about 1/10 or 1/20 of my smallest element size.
Yes i jnow the element size must be larger than node tolerance. But what exactly is the node tolernace and what are the consequences when it is to large/small?
The simple method to undestand is try yourself.
