H3D File Table of Contents Failed to Read
Occasionally after I run a simulation, it was all run fine without any errors, but when i got to open it in HyperView i get the following:
2017-07-21 15:36:15 HyperWorks Information: H3D File Opened: C:\Users\Brandon\Documents\HyperWorks\Training\Misc. Files\Contact Test\Radioss\Cube on Cube\v2.h3d
2017-07-21 15:36:15 HyperWorks Error: H3D file Table of Contents failed to read.
2017-07-21 15:36:15 HyperWorks Error: Error: failed to read model from 'model' resource.
2017-07-21 15:36:15 Application(General) Information: Error creating result math analysis
I have noticed that it will only really occur when I change the Engine File. For example If I set the Engine File to this:
It will all work perfectly, and the animation will show correctly. But if i want a smoother animation with more frames, I want to increase the animation output, so if i change the .1 to something like 0.01 or 0.02, I get the error shown above. So just to be clear here's what the Engine File shows when I get the error.
I am new to using Radioss so not sure if I am just misunderstanding something, but not sure what is going wrong. I am also not sure if this would be a Radioss issue or a HyperView issue, but it renders fine from Radioss and creates the H3D file so I assumed it is a HyperView thing.

Hi Brandon,
This seems bit strange.
Is it the issue only with h3d file?. Did you try loading the animation files (A001....etc)?.
Also, which HyperWorks version are you using?.

It seems to be. I can open the animation files themselves okay, but get the error when trying to load the H3D. I am using Hyperview 2017, but also tried in v14 and still same error.

Hi Brandon,
Can you please share the model file (_0000.rad and _0001.rad) so that we will check and update you.

Hmm, I can't seem to replicate it anymore. I feel as though I may have been trying to open the H3D files too soon, and they weren't fully written to even though the solver said it was finished, as I can now open and play the previous files perfectly. I say this because on my newest run I noticed the H3D file showed a size of 0B in the browser right after the solver finished, but after awhile it became a much larger size, so I assume I just was not patient enough.

Yeah, I usually closed the solver window once it said 'end of solver screen output', and would try to open the H3D file. Will try to be more patient with it, thanks for the help.
