Hi .. element off set option works better when we know the thickness yes I agree /emoticons/default_rolleyes.gif' alt=':rolleyes:'> .. but when we have huge distortion surfaces when we extrct mid from plastic component and we are unable to mesh at outer surface . /emoticons/default_blink.png' alt=':blink:'> . can I get more information about off set of The elments when component is made of plastic and it having three to four dog house in the plane /emoticons/default_sad.png' alt=':(' srcset='/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>

Perhaps you need to clarify your query, and add images etc
So you extract a midsurface of a plastic component, are you concerned about the midsurface extraction process?
Element offset cannot replace midsurfacing and then meshing the midsurface for complex plastic components.
