Nodes by Face Selection - Wrong Result

Hi,

 

I've been trying to select a bunch of nodes by a face to add an RBE2 to it, but when selecting by face, it will actually select an adjacent, slightly inclined face as well. Is there a way to tell HyperMesh not to select the nodes on the adjacent face? The only method I found so far is to select each node manually but at an element size of 1, in this case it would be very tedious. I'm dealing with probably a few thousand nodes on the face I want.

 

The first 2 attached images display what I'd like it to do. These nodes have been manually selected. 

 

The third image shows how it's - wrongly! - automatically selecting the nodes on 2 faces.
