Hi there,

I would like to perform a design sweep using Hypermorph and Hyperstudy. The responses I am looking for are the Von Misses stress and/or Strain energy density averaged over a set of elements with a given SID. I have given it a fair attempt, but am stuck. I am only able to select one element at a time when defining responses from file sources. Is there a way to reference all elements in a set, average them and return their mean- whether or not in this order?

Thank you and Happy hollidays

What version of HyperStudy are you using? If it is older than HyperStudy ver 14.0; you need to use the resvector function. See  HS-2000: DOE Method Comparison: Arm Model Study as an example.
