I have one rigid component and one elastic component (both are 2D). How can I connect these two components using 1D rigid elements? I am using Hypermesh with LS-Dyna interface.

Hi,
two (or more) rigid components cannot share nodes (because the nodes are dependant)
So you cannot connect directly rigid bodies (rigid elements are 'nodal' rigid bodies)
