Can we give CONDUCTION  and CONTACT(SLIDE) interfaces simultaneously between the elements of two components?

    Hi,

    For the Contact-based Thermal Analysis you need 2 subcases and couple them.Please refer attached thumbnail for sample tutorial.

    In attached tutorial we have used gap elements , instead of that you can define contact and perform contact based thermal analysis.

    For more information please refer user guide og contact based thermal analysis. since we have added many new features in latest version of Optistruct.

    But I have defined contact and tried to perform contact based thermal analysis. I gave conduction type CONTACT. But it is not showing any results.

    Hi,

    I would recommend to try same in our latest version 13.0

    12.0 should also work. Please share your fem file or out file?
