I am doing analysis of concrete beam reinforced with steel bars. Firstly i did the assembly on CAD software and import it's .igs file in hypermesh. Then i did 3D meshing for both components and assigned different materials and property. But when I apply load on concrete beam load doesn't transfer to reinforced steel bars. Please help me with this.

either the properties are not assigned correctly or there is a connectivity of elements issue. Make sure all the elements are connected at the interface of reinforce and concrete. This may work.
