Hi, everyone.

I want to get some help.

I tried to import HMASCII file in HM14. (exported from Avizo 8.1 fire version)

But, end of line shows 'The file specified is not a HyperMesh database.', and Right edge messages 'Model Info: Untitled*' ( Please see screenshot 4,5)

Below screenshot 1~3 indicates procedure of what I did.

How can I import this HMASCII file in my HM14 ?

Please help me.

Thanks.

    Hi,

Go to Import Solver Deck>> Change file type to Hmascii and Import.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>hmascii.PNG

First of all, Thank you for replying to me.

I tried as you mentioned, But I couldn't.

My HM14(student edition) just has three file type, but no hmascii.

    Please refer to screenshot.

Could you please help me again ?

Maybe that's limited features of student's release?

I can import HMASCII without problem.

It is one of the limitations in Student Edition.

If your University has a full suite of HyperWorks, you can use that to import the file and export the same to OptiStruct/RADIOSS so that you can use it on your personal machine.

    Thank you very much.

I couldn't understand ' university has a full suite of HyperWorks'. It means that university bought HyperWorks, right ?

Could you please tell me in detail ?

    I really appreciate your reply.

    Hansol,

Yes, in case your university has purchased HyeprWorks licenses.
