how to create shell mesh on outer surface of solid mesh

Hello,

I want to create a shell mesh on the outer surface of a solid mesh.

Backround is: I have the solid mesh of a composite core and I want to add a composite shell on the outside of it. I have no geometry.

Can anyone help?
