Hi,

I have a problem with Hypermesh 13.0. Here're my environment:

  • Hyperwork 13.0 with all updates
  • OS : Windows 7 64bit professional SP1
  • User Profile : NASTRAN
  • Mesh Option: element order: second
  • 3D meshing method : solid map

When I ask for density=2, Hypermesh creates 4 element layers (see screenshot).

Hypermesh model is in attached ZIP file.

Anyone could confirm me this 'bug' ?

Thanks,

I get only two layers, however I am not able to use the source hint and destination hint, I just select the solid and get the result

@Rahul: thank you for your reply.

Can you do 'Solid map' with only 'source hint' & Density ?

within the one volume panel , I don't think this is allowed, I get an error saying the solid needs to be selected.

I just done two tests with the same model and the same method:

    1. Hyperworks 13 without any update, Windows 7 64bit: Solid map with 'Source hint' and 'Density' => OK
    2. Hyperworks 13 with only 13.0.103_hotfix, Linux 64bit : Solid map with 'Source hint' and 'Density' => OK

So I think the bug comes from the lastest update 'hwdesktop13.0.110'.

My local Altair support just confirmed this bug.

    Thanks,
