Model Disappears When Performing Min Mass

when running max stiffness, model solves fine. when running with stress constraint the model solves but then disappears.

 

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

 

If you see an empty result when running minimize mass it means that your safety factor is too small compared to the loads applied to the model. This usually means that the loads value entered in Inspire are small compared to what they would be in reality. Please check your loads value and see if this is the issue.

 

Another possibility would be a too high Yield Stress value for your material. I would check that as well.

i actually had a unit load leftover from the max stiffness model. once i increased the forces it solved.
