Apply Torque

I am having problems applying a torque to the centre of a hole. i followed the tutorial but the icon which is displayed is never available,<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> it is always grey.

Am i missing something trivial?

Hi Tom,

 

To apply a torque at a center of a hole you need to select the inner face of your hole and the torque will automatically be created at the center.

 

If the inner face of the hole is made of two surfaces (e.g. a geometry imported from CATIA) you will need to create a slightly bigger hole in the same place using the sketcher. Then using the Push/Pull tool re-size the newly created hole to its correct diameter.
