Hi,

 

what are the control cards & parameters for modal analysis in LS dyna solver.

 

can any one help?

    You can refer Hypermesh interfacing tutorials for LS Dyna.I am not sure whether it covers modal analysis or not but you can contact Dyna support for same.

    Two control cards are needed to run modal simulation in LS-Dyna:  *CONTROL_IMPLICIT_GENERAL with IMFLAG=1 (tells Dyna it's an implicit simulation); and *CONTROL_IMPLICIT_EIGENVALUE with NEIG set to the number of modes you want extracted.
