Hi,

I have two plates to link with an adhesive connector area, but when I create it there is an overlapping of some RBE3 elements.

I'd like to know what could be the reason of that and if it is significant for the analysis results (linear static). Please see the attached pictures.

Thanks in advance,Alessandro.

    Hi AlexT,

From the image I can't comment because I am not sure how the other plate is oriented.

Can you show the entire model or share the same?

Also, please let us know in which user profile you are in.

    Hi,

hm will try selecting some nodes to be master node for RBE3. so if your mesh size is similar, rbe3 elems are closed to each other, then they share some master node

this does not raise any solving error. this is normally connectivity.

you can check rbe3 connectivity by F10>1d> free 1d, rigidloop, dependency
