What is the actual purpose of loading .tcl file before importing coordinates?
Hello ahilan - I am not clear which version of MotionView you are using. This tutorial has been changed in v13.0, since we now have a better way of importing point coordinates.
Prior to v13.0, there was no GUI support to create multiple points in one go using a list of coordinate values. Hence a tcl script was provided as a work around. In v13.0, there is a new utility called 'Parametric Points' which can be accessed through the Macro menubar (there is also a toolbar access) which can be used to import a csv file for coordinate values or use a table to specify values.
