HM8 Crashes with Windows 7 (64 bit)

Hello Friends,

 

I am presently using HM 8 in windows 7 (64 bit) machine with 32 GB RAM and 3.5 GHz processor. Whenever I use surface edit option, it crashes with segmentation error. I think there is no problem with the geometry  as I  could work in HM 12 without any problem. 

 

I appreciate any solution/suggestions to resolve this problem. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

     

    Delete the following three files from HyperWorks working directory.
     
     > hmmenu.set,
     
     > hmsettings.tcl and
     
     > command.cmf.
     
    Please close all sessions of HyperWorks before deleting these files.

    Delete Temp Directory File also.

     

    We recommend you to use Latest Hyperworks version HW 13.0.HM 8 is a old version and we stopped development of that version long back.
