Tetra Meshing

Hi,

 

I am learning 3D meshing and was wondering the difference between the sub panel 'tetra mesh' and 'volume tetra.' Can someone help me on that? 

 

My assumption is to use 'volume tetra' when convert 2D object to 3D meshing, and to use 'tetra mesh' when convert a solid 3d object to 3D meshing. Am I right?
