Hi,

when i am importing a ls-dyna deck to hm and have *PART_INERTIAs present, i always get the following warning:

'Warning:  IRCS value for PART id 11000002 is changed from 0 to 1 i.e the inertias are changed from Global to Local axis and also aligned to the principal axis'

I do not want this to happen... how can i change this, so that hm will not modify the inertial properties at all??

The *PART_INERTIA IRCS parameter value is changed from 0 to 1. (The inertia components are changed from global to local axis.)
This allows inertia components to be automatically updated when *PART_INERTIA elements are translated or rotated.

Ok, so there is no way to change this?

I do not see any way to do this currently, I know that the feature to keep IRCS as 0 on import is under development and will be implemented in the future

If you just don't want hm to change inertial properties, then simply define IRCS as 1 and assign a CID for it
