Shear Stress - Shell Elements

Hello everyone,

i just want to know how to see the shear stress in tau_xy and tau_xz direction. I used optistructe as my solver.

I only see 'max shear' as an option but the result didnt expect as it shoud.

the modell is loaded with a lateral force and has a fixed joint.

Please select All for type of stress output in global output request as shown below and run the analysis.

In HyperView you can see shear xy as option as shown below.

If it is a plane stress condition, it will only show shear stress in one plane (Shear in XY or XZ or YZ).

Analysis > Control cards > Global Output Request > Stress

hmm im sorry i dont find it...

i go to analysis --> control cards <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

and then this opens

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

but there is no global output request

do i something wrong?
