Shell elements ZOFF Ansys

For this requirement, please card edit PSHELL card and check the ZOFFS option under CONT.

You can now use the ZOFFS=TOP/Bottom option.

Kindly note that this change in thickness assignment cannot be visualized.

What is the card image that you've shown? I'm not getting this SECOFFSET option in any card image under the type SHELL of Ansys user profile.

Also I'm using HyperWorks 10.1. Is this because of the older version, I'm unable to get this?

Prashanth,

I am using 14.0 and the type of property is SECTYPE. Go to Property>> for CARD IMAGE>> choose SECTYPE

That's the problem. There is no such card image in v10.1

you can manually move the shell elements using Element Offset

go to 2D page>> ElemOffset
