Hello

there are 3 ways:

1) shift+F12 > automesh a tip surface of spring

3d>line drag>drag elems> drag the tip elems along helix line

=> you get 3d model

2) geom>lines>between> make mid line between 2 helix lines

1d>line mesh> mesh the mid line

=> you get 1d model

3) 1d>spring> create spring elem connects top and bottom of spring

=> you get 0d model
