Hello everyone.

I am a new student who is learning linear buckling simulation by hyperworks.

I have a question as below.

Does hyperview have the function to take numerical integration in some domain for FEM model?

I have got the data of SENER(strain energy density) from buckling simulation for some domain in FEM model by hyperview.

And then how to use numerical integration to calculate the average of the SENER?

Please help me if someone know how to do it.

Thank you so much!

Sun

    HI Sun ,

In general, when you have results from an analysis plotted in HyperView, and then would like to work on these results, find the average etc you would use the result math module.

See HyperWorks Desktop Applications > HyperView > Results > HyperWorks Result Math in Help documentation,

    Dear Rahul Ponginan

Thank you so much for your kind reply.

    It really helps me!

But I still want to know if there is a function for hyperview to use numerical integration (gauss integral) to calculate the average of analysis results.

It seems there is not such function in hyperworks, is it right?

    Looking forwards for your reply.

    Thanks a lot.
