I have done a shell mesh of a 3D component for a structural analysis. Then I will create tetra mesh from the 2D mesh, but I would want to know if I should also check the elements' normal in addition to warpage, aspect ratio,....
Yeah, for good mesh, you have to always check the quality of 2D mesh before creating TET mesh.
If you work only with TET mesh (your final goal), you not need to check element normal of your 2D mesh.
