How to convert hyperform .sta file (deformed part) to Optistruct .fem file, because I need to do modal analysis of that deformed part in Optistruct user profile.

How to convert hyperform .sta file (deformed part) to Optistruct  .fem file, because I need to do modal analysis of that deformed part in Optistruct user profile.

    Is this ASCII file?

    Just have a look at one .STA file in Hyperworks installation. It's ASCII file.

    So if there's no existing tool you can write one to convert .STA's data into .fem data.
