i have a problem with a contact condition between two components. Everytime when i view the results of the analysis, the master surface 'ignores' the slave surface. The solver doesnt find any contacts between this two parts. Im using optistruct with non-linear quasi-static analysis and i defined a PCONT property for my contact condition (i need a slide condition). I tested many different search distance and clearance settings, but neither of them works. i really wonder about this, because i defined three other contact conditions (with the same settings) within this assembly which working without any Problems.
I tested my single contact condition with a force load and a moment load. i found out that theres only the problem when im using the moment load, with a force load the components recognizes a contact. In my assembly are three forces which causes a moment load on my problematical contact condition. Can someone give me a helpful hint ?
