Magnetic field in the Far-field

Hi.

I am designing a simple half-wavelength dipole antenna. I want to request the measurement of the magnetic field in the far field. There is only E-field under the quantity from PostFeko.

Can you tell me how to request the H field measurement?

Hello,

One options is to use the near-field requests, but place the points in the far field zone. The you can plot both E- and H-field at the specific distance that you have requested. The near-field can be set up with spherical coordinates.

There is also a very simple relationship between the E and H fields in a TEM wave and thus using the wave impedance and a cross product you can calculate the H field from the E field. POSTFEKO does not make this available since this is the first time that someone has requested (or even asked about) the feature as far as I know.
