hello ,

could anyone explain to me the signification of eigenvalues in this contour plot , because i don't know what are they referring to in this plot ( are they the norm of the eigenvector of each .

    Hi,

    The eigenvalues are used to determine the natural frequencies of vibration, and the eigenvectors determine the shapes of these vibrational modes.
