Torque On A Face

Hello everybody,

 

i try to run an optimization on a U-shape part who is recessed at one end. I apply a torque at the opposit end. The torque is apply on the little grey surface. The torque is feeble (0.1N-mm). The optimization doesn't work.

Is it ao other methodology to twist one part?

Hi Frederic,

 

I just tried a model like yours and got some results. Can you please let me know which objective you used in the run potimization window?

 

Also when you say the optimization did not work, did you get an error message or an unexpected result?
