THE SPRINGBACK CALCULATED IN HYPERVIEW IS TOO MUCH SMALL (0.526 DEG).AS COMPARATIVE TO ANGLE CALCULATED IN EXPERIMENTATION(15 DEG) , WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE TO CALCULATE SPRINGBACK NEAR ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL ?

OR WHAT STEP SHOULD BE CORRECT TO GET EXACT RESULTS?

    Hi,

     

    spring back is function of your material properties. Make sure the material stress strain curve is same as the test material. also the strain hardness coeff (n) has to be same.

     

    for more accurate springback prediction use the constrains or SPC method instead of Automatic mode. this will also help you position the part while part coamprision.
