hi, I am trying to evaluate permeability constants k11, k22 and k33 for fiberglass/polyester laminate experimentally for VARTM process. Is there any way to simulate this in hypermesh and evaluate these constants ? thank you.

HyperMesh is a preprocessor that interfaces with solvers (software that solves FEA problems)

FEA and related techniques are usually used to predict / calculate the  behaviour of structures given loading conditions and material properties,

they are not to calculate the properties themselves,

If you intend to use the experimentally derived material values into a structural simulation, that is a use case for HyperMesh and Solvers like Optistruct,

The material properties input in those cases would be shear modulus and elasticity modulus etc, also in such a case please elaborate the simulation setup, the loading conditions and especially the material data you need to input i.e. permeability constants, please also describe the nature of these constants and the equations they are part of,
