dear sir,

i got the result from nastran but when i am viewing the result in hv i am not able to take the stress wher it is maximum. becouse its showing max at regid joins. shall i take result at tht regid joint or can i mask that and take result in other side

Rigids have infinite stiffness.so mask rigid and then contour result for max stress.

thank you sir,

i mask all the rigid but it showing max stress where i fix the rigid means i selected the some nodes to connect rigid so in that element i am getting the max stress so

If you have created washer modelled with two or three layers then even first layer of elements you can hide & check results.

dear sir ,

i will explain my model

i did tet second order mesh for that model and its having mass of 7 kg and i lumped 50 kg on that base plate to all edge nodes by path.. when i am viewing result in hv it showing max stress wr i taken the nodes for rbe2.

dear sir . i have .op2 file but when i opening in hv .its showing result but the model will not be appear. just once it appear and then it disappear

Hi,

This behaviour normally happens if you have unconnected part(rigid body motion) in hyperview.You would get higher displacement.

If possible share Op2 file.
