    Hi

    i have extended the ground plane by lambda/4  and connected the ground plane

    can i consider this way correct

    Hi gheit

     

    The edge port you used in the model above seems reasonable as it excites the structure between the center line and the ground correctly.

     

    While the above should give you reasonable results, if you wanted to compare very accurately with measured results, you might have to model the actual physical feed in more detail. In the paper you reference the CPW was excited by a SMA connector and you could include this geometry - excited by a waveguide port for example - in your model. Please see the image below for an example of this.

    which port you exsited the SMA is it wave guide  port
