Hi,

I created an ellipsoid and it comes under multibodies without surface.

I need to consider this ellipsoid as an ball and i need to do both the surface and volume mesh for the ellipsoid.

How could i do the suraface and volume mesh for the ellipsoid ?

There is no dpecific properties for the ellipsoid, i just need to mesh it

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sindhu,

I am a little confused, what do you mean without surface?

If you can extract surfaces from mating parts you can use automesh panel to create a random surface mesh. If you need more structured mesh, you can split the surface and mesh the same.

    Hi Prakash,

Thanks for your reply. And also Sorry for the confusion. I am new to hypermesh. So i could not explain properly.

I have attached the ellipsoid file. I need to mesh(both surface and volume mesh) this ellipsoid. What is the best possible way to mesh it with good quality ?

How you got your ellipsoid? I can't extract surface from it.

So try to create/import an ellipsoid to mesh. See my screenshot:
